SORRY BRAZILLIANS, BUT...

The whole world is still mourning with the nation of Brazil over the loss of 71 players, officials and some journalists in a plane crash last Monday. The short-haul airliner, crashed south of Medellin, Columbia. It was bound for Jose Maria Cordova International Airport in Rionegro, where Brazilian soccer team Chapecoense was to play in a championship match. I am sure that majority of those players and officials did not plan or expect what happened.  I was particularly touched by the story of one them whose wife is reported to be due for delivery in a few weeks. ETERNITY REMINDERS COMMISERATE WITH THE NATION OF BRAZIL AND THE ENTIRE FOOTBALL WORLD...




Dying by plane crash can be a very terrible experience. While I always give extra thanks unto God each time I boarded that – some call it ‘coffin’ - and landed safely, I actually did ‘FASTING and PRAYER’ all through my first flight outside Lagos close to a decade ago while I had become bolder since that first experience, I have a colleague in the office whose morbid fear of traveling by aircraft persist till today because he always say no hope if anything happen up there. He will never venture to board a plane, preferring ALWAYS to go on official trip by road!



“However, each day we wake up, we should realize that two events often bring the greatest joy to heaven – translation of a soul from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of His dear Son to become a saint and translation (death) of a saint from this earth to heaven.”

However, as always the above question came up again in my spirit, especially recalling the article I wrote here a few weeks ago – WHO IS THE NEXT SAINT TO BE CALLED HOME? Read it here: https://goo.gl/wBlHrf. 


I also ask myself what if I was on board. Where will I be in eternity? But thanks be unto God again that I am already on BOARD THE ETERNITY FLIGHT BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST and I have no fear where I shall be in eternity. I HAVE LOST THE FEAR OF DEATH BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN THE BEAUTY OF HEAVEN. I WAKE UP EXCITED EVERYDAY, AWAITING THE GLORIOUS SOUND OF THE TRUMPET AND RAPTURE because that is the flight I desire to take to eternity but if it pleases the Lord to go by another flight (physical death), so be it! Physical death is only a change of address for me! This is the more reason I remind myself DAILY that today could be my last day. And what about you, as you are reading this right now? Are you very sure you can say the same thing? If yes, glory be to God in the highest. If not, today is your day. You can also get on BOARD BY THE BLOOD. Today could be your last day and you must NOT be found on the wrong side of eternity. Just pray this simple prayer right now: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you today, I am a sinner. I believe you died for me that I might have ETERNAL LIFE. Forgive me my sins and cleanse me with your blood.  I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a blessed child of God.  Thank you for saving me. If you have prayed this prayer sincerely, you are born again and you have ETERNAL LIFE.   CONGRATULATIONS!

Apostle Timothy Oluwole Obadare went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2013 at the ripe age of 83. According to reports, he had been confined indoors for some years, but was said to have struggled to attend the March edition of the Koseunti Prayer meeting on March 1, 2013. He was brought to the church premises but could not come down from the car. When the news of his death came in, it dawned on the members that perhaps their leader had wanted to attend the meeting for the last time.[47] Apostle Timothy Obadare is survived by his wife, Elizabeth E.
