ARE YOU AFRAID OF DEATH?

Before you start quoting the scriptures to reject death, please wait! Yes, I know the first one that will probably come to heart is “I shall not die but live to declare the glory of God” and I say a BIG amen to that. But do you know that many people are scared of death?  Especially against the backdrop of recent deaths of some very prominent personalities in the land – It is like we are in the season of deaths and the question is who is next?  I share with you a recent conversation between a friend of mine and a woman below:

Shocking Confession of a 'Pastor': "I Am A Member Of Ogboni Confraternity"

For many Christians, Ogboni society is not only regarded as a secret cult but also treated as an abomination that must not be identified with. A senior member of the Christendom however feels otherwise and in fact made a shocking revelation that will leave many gasping for breath. For over four decades, 65-year-old Pastor Solomon Oladimeji has been a shepherd in the vineyard. Apart from being the founder of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Orisun-Ayo, with branches at Alapere, Ketu, and Odogunyan in Ikorodu area of Lagos, Prophet Oladimeji reveals that he is also a top member of the Ogboni fraternity. He belongs to Saala Ogboni Fellowship of Nigeria (SOFN) – within the fraternity – where he occupies the position of Oluwo and the third in command to the overall head of the fraternity. “I am not ashamed to confess my membership of the fraternity. I’m proud to be Ogboni member. In actual fact, being an Ogboni leader has made me not only a good disciple of Jesus Christ,

WHAT SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST?

The man sitting on the floor, dressed in white, is a Christian pastor who lives in Syria, Middle East. In the morning, he went out to preach the Gospel, and when he returned home that afternoon, he found all his children dead, four children murdered by people against CHRISTIANITY. He was asked, before the bodies if he would stop preaching Christ. He replied: "That's not me. Nobody will silence my  voice. I will speak the word of the Lord. More than ever, I proclaim Christ and His Salvation." Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. I don’t want my grandchildren to die of hunger like their father–Grandmother begging for food in Ibadan

We, at ETERNITY REMINDERS are moved by the pathetic story of this family and hereby call on well meaning members of the public to come to their aid. On our own, we will be contacting the writer of the story with a view to opening an account for the family (if they don't yet have one) and circulate the account to the well meaning members of the public. I don’t want my grandchildren to die of hunger like their father–Grandmother begging for food in Ibadan Awoniran with the children and their mother (l) The quietness that had become a common feature of the city of Ibadan was obstructed last week with the disturbing news of a 75-year-old woman  seen with seven children in Basorun area of Ibadan.
