SORRY BRAZILLIANS, BUT...

PIX SOURCE: msn.com The whole world is still mourning with the nation of Brazil over the loss of 71 players, officials and some journalists in a plane crash last Monday. The short-haul airliner, crashed south of Medellin, Columbia. It was bound for Jose Maria Cordova International Airport in Rionegro, where Brazilian soccer team Chapecoense was to play in a championship match. I am sure that majority of those players and officials did not plan or expect what happened.   I was particularly touched by the story of one them whose wife is reported to be due for delivery in a few weeks. ETERNITY REMINDERS COMMISERATE WITH THE NATION OF BRAZIL AND THE ENTIRE FOOTBALL WORLD... Dying by plane crash can be a very terrible experience. While I always give extra thanks unto God each time I boarded that – some call it ‘coffin’ - and landed safely, I actually did ‘FASTING and PRAYER’ all through my first flight outside Lagos close to a decade ago while I had become b

BEYOND THE MATTERS OF ETERNITY - ECONOMIC MELTDOWN MUST NOT MELT DOWN YOUR HOME

Leading Christian marriage counsellor, Pastor Bisi Adewale, spoke on the challenges facing families based on the economic meltdown and how they can navigate the storms. How is the economic crunch affecting families? This is not the best of times for families at all. Many parents cannot meet obligations like school fees. Many wives are leaving their matrimonial homes. I know a particular pastor whose wife just left with their five children.  According to her, the man cannot meet her needs. A sister also left her husband of less than one year, insisting he is not manly enough.  This crunch is really hitting families. It is making women not to respect their husbands like before. It is giving more rooms for infidelity. Some women who are unstable are falling into the hands of those with the means. So, it is a hard time really and families are pressed hard.  ALSO READ BEYOND THE MATTERS OF ETERNITY - A LOOK DOWN THE MEMORY LANE OF PAST WINNERS OF US PRESI

THE SAINTS OF OLD (NIGERIAN SERIES): PROPHET DR T. O. OBADARE - HOW HE WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD...

Apostle Timothy Oluwole Obadare went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2013 at the ripe age of 83. According to reports, he had been confined indoors for some years, but was said to have struggled to attend the March edition of the Koseunti Prayer meeting on March 1, 2013. He was brought to the church premises but could not come down from the car. When the news of his death came in, it dawned on the members that perhaps their leader had wanted to attend the meeting for the last time.[47] Apostle Timothy Obadare is survived by his wife, Elizabeth E. A. Obadare, six children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.      Governor Aregbesola being welcome to the burial ceremony by Mama Obadare & 2 sons Personal Qualities Many extolled the virtues of this great Apostle of Christ. THE SAINTS OF OLD SERIES - PROPHET DR. T.O. OBADARE (BIRTH, CALL & MINISTRY)

Introduction Ogo ni fun Olorun l’oke orun. Mo tun wi leekan si pe ogo ni fun Olorun l’oke orun. E jeki a gbadura (Glory be to God in heaven. And I say once again, glory be to God in heaven. Shall we pray?)[1] This slogan echoed over the Nigerian airwaves, especially in south-western Nigeria, for close to four decades. Each time it echoed, those who were familiar with it easily identified the voice of Apostle (Dr.) Timothy Oluwole Obadare, one of the indigenous prophets of the land, who was the General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) (Worldwide); the Executive Director of World Soul-Winning Evangelistic Ministry (WOSEM) and the President of the Interdenominational Ministers’ Association of Nigeria (IMA). Formerly of The Apostolic Church (TAC), he worked with the church for a period of four years, 1953 to 1957, before he was brought into the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) by Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola in 1957. Having joined the CAC, he work
