Happy New Year Beloved Saints, Blessed be the name of the Lord who has counted us worthy to send another year in the land of the living. And we SURELY have greater reasons to give thanks for He has counted us worthy to reign with Him forever in eternity. Even as we trust Him to see 2017 and beyond, it is interesting to remind ourselves that we have an eternal God, ancient of days, who has refused to grow old - they call Him "Arugbo Ojo" in Yoruba parlance. He is the owner of heaven and earth, who is not time-bound. 2 Peter 3:8 says " But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years , and a thousand years are like a day ".  THERE IS THEREFORE NO BETTER REASON(S) NOT TO COMMIT OURSELVES to this eternal God in 2017 and beyond, even as we must keep encouraging ourselves to LIVE READY FOR ETERNITY AT ALL TIMES.   While wishing all the esteemed readers of this blog A HAPPY NEW YEAR, I

One Yoruba proverb says “It is always the biggest masquerade that performs last”. As an addendum to WHY THE DECEMBER TOPS THE BILL AS THE MONTH AFTER MY HEART - I mentioned that the number one reason is because 70% of the MOST influential people in my life were born in this special month (read it here: https://goo.gl/dngniY ).
