The quote above is from one of the most powerful and influential books I have ever read in my life WRITING YOUR OWN EPITAPH by Pastor Sola Nwaeni. I first came across the book 3 years ago and I must confess that I have never remained the same since reading the book. I have since gone ahead to read it three times. As a matter of fact, I will say that it is one of the reasons that gave birth to the vision to do this blog ETERNITY REMINDERS BLOG (ERB) 2 years ago, alongside two other reasons I will keep for now.



As I thank God for the grace to see another 365 days this past week, I started reflecting on the over 15,700 days I have been privileged to spend on earth, I had the conviction in my spirit to go over the book again and thereafter write my epitaph. But  having lived over 15,700 days, how many more days do I desire to live?


God said in His word (Ps.90:10) that the days of our years are three score and ten years (70); and if by reason of strength they be four score years (80). However, my desire is not to taste death but to be raptured (read more here https://goo.gl/tK3ae6).  But if it pleases the Lord to delay the rapture for whatsoever reason, am ready to come home at the appointed time that pleases Him. So I have no hesitation in writing my epitaph…

Apostle Timothy Oluwole Obadare went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2013 at the ripe age of 83. According to reports, he had been confined indoors for some years, but was said to have struggled to attend the March edition of the Koseunti Prayer meeting on March 1, 2013. He was brought to the church premises but could not come down from the car. When the news of his death came in, it dawned on the members that perhaps their leader had wanted to attend the meeting for the last time.[47] Apostle Timothy Obadare is survived by his wife, Elizabeth E. A.
