TOP 5 OLD TESTAMENTS SAINTS I WANT TO SEE WHEN I GET TO HEAVEN...

Dear all, thanks for your wonderful feedbacks on the 1st part of this very interesting topic – read it here again https://goo.gl/Xa2FEr if you are yet to do so. Am glad to bring to you the 2nd part featuring the Old Testament saints. I look forward to hearing from you again!

1.     Enoch – The first man not to taste death recorded in the scripture, the other being Elijah. The man that walked with God! My question for him is petty straight forward. “Sir, how did you manage to stand out in a wicked generation of yours to have warranted God to send a special delegation to take you to heaven?”.

2.     Rahab the Harlot – similar to the story of the thief, the story of this ‘prostitute’ is one of those hard to believe stories in the bible. A classic case of God using the foolish things to compound the wise.  If not, why in the whole city, nobody was deemed fit to ‘help’ his people but a prostitute. According to Christian Mirror, September 2016 edition “Rahab’s story is a constant reminder to everyone that the greatness of sin is no bar to God’s pardoning mercy if it be truly repented of on time”. I will ask Rahab what prompted her to do what she did which eventually created for her a place not only in history of the Israelites but (I believe) in heaven as well.

3.     Moses – I will be extremely glad to see the meekest man in the world! (Num.12:3). The man God also spoke with face-to-face, my question for him is straight forward. What really happened that you allow yourself to be ‘pushed’ by the stiff necked people of Israel, thus missing the Promised Land? My second question for you sir is what exactly happened that made you took so long on the Mount thus ‘tempting’ the children of Israel to push Aron to make another god for them?

4.     Elijah – I will twice as glad to meet the 2nd man ever recorded not to have tasted death. For God to send a special delegation from heaven to take you home is indeed a unique feat! Kudos for your unique feat sir! But what happened that at one point in your life, you were running away from a ‘common’ woman (Jezebel)?

5.     David – the man “after God’s own heart”, and the first and last to be addressed so. A great warrior & king, whose lineage the Lord eventually passed to come to earth to rescue mankind. I salute you sir! I will be highly delighted and excited to meet with you when I get up there but my question for you sir is how did you manage to escape that wicked king Saul who sought to kill you on several occasions and what crime did you commit to have warranted such level of hatred? Secondly, could you please explain what made you slept with another man's wife, which eventually led you to murder the man to cover up your sin?

THE SAINTS OF OLD SERIES - PROPHET DR. T.O. OBADARE (BIRTH, CALL & MINISTRY)

Introduction Ogo ni fun Olorun l’oke orun. Mo tun wi leekan si pe ogo ni fun Olorun l’oke orun. E jeki a gbadura (Glory be to God in heaven. And I say once again, glory be to God in heaven. Shall we pray?)[1] This slogan echoed over the Nigerian airwaves, especially in south-western Nigeria, for close to four decades. Each time it echoed, those who were familiar with it easily identified the voice of Apostle (Dr.) Timothy Oluwole Obadare, one of the indigenous prophets of the land, who was the General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) (Worldwide); the Executive Director of World Soul-Winning Evangelistic Ministry (WOSEM) and the President of the Interdenominational Ministers’ Association of Nigeria (IMA). Formerly of The Apostolic Church (TAC), he worked with the church for a period of four years, 1953 to 1957, before he was brought into the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) by Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola in 1957. Having joined the CAC, he ...

THE SAINTS OF OLD (NIGERIAN SERIES): PROPHET DR T. O. OBADARE - HOW HE WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD...

Apostle Timothy Oluwole Obadare went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2013 at the ripe age of 83. According to reports, he had been confined indoors for some years, but was said to have struggled to attend the March edition of the Koseunti Prayer meeting on March 1, 2013. He was brought to the church premises but could not come down from the car. When the news of his death came in, it dawned on the members that perhaps their leader had wanted to attend the meeting for the last time.[47] Apostle Timothy Obadare is survived by his wife, Elizabeth E. A. Obadare, six children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.      Governor Aregbesola being welcome to the burial ceremony by Mama Obadare & 2 sons Personal Qualities Many extolled the virtues of this great Apostle of Christ. Pastor Joseph Adegoroye, a former President of the CAC worldwide, while commenting on the establishment of the Koseunti monthy prayer meeting in 1985, said “Pr...

THE SAINTS OF OLD – PA S.G. ELTON (Part 1)

I have been trying (for over 3 months now) to do a research on the late Pa S.G. Elton, who is widely considered to be the father of Pentecostalism in Nigeria before featuring him on this platform. However, someone circulated this via What Sapp and I am using it as a platform to start a 3 part series on him. Enjoy the write up below. Your feedback and comments will be highly appreciated. Also feel free to send to  eternity.reminders@gmail.com  any useful article(s) in this regard.  Shalom! LOOKING BACKWARD: In order for us to understand the origin of the prosperity “gospel” and the present reign of mammon in the Church today, we cannot but talk about the man who almost single-handedly established the Pentecostal movement that led to the Pentecostal Churches of Nigeria today. Before then all we had were mostly the “orthodox” Churches with strong controls and hierarchy of the ministers. We did not have the “one-man” Churches of today. ALSO READ JO...
