WASH YOUR ROBE & BE READY…

“…And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? … and he said to me, these are they which came out of the great tribulation and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the lamb” Rev.7:13-14

Events in these last days have no doubt proved beyond reasonable doubt that the 2nd coming of the Lord otherwise known as ‘rapture’ is closer than many believers think. The end is indeed near! Several scriptures already warned that if care is not taken, most believers, in spite of the fact that they are saved might find themselves shut out of eternity with God due the fact they could not meet with standards required to be with God in eternity, principal of which is ABILITY TO KEEP ONE’S ROBE UNSPOTTED, WITHOUT BLEMISH AND WITHOUT WRINKLE (Eph. 5:27). It is sad to know that many believers’ robes are dirty, with wrinkle and spot all over it. A man of God confirmed this recently when he said God told him “Some among my people on earth have dirtied their robes. Others have crumpled robes, and still others have put theirs aside, and have forgotten them. Tell my people that it's time they washed their robes and iron them. It should be without wrinkle or any spot.”

“And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment (CLEAN ROBE): And he said unto him, friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, bind him hand and foot and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” – Matt.22:11-13.

In as much as God loved and saved us from eternal damnation, He is no respecter of persons and WILL NOT ALLOW ANY BELIEVER without a clean robe NO MATTER HOW HIGHLY PLACED into heaven (Matt. 22:11). For every believer, the question we need to ask ourselves is: Ever since I gave my life to Jesus, is my robe still clean without having any wrinkle or spot? The Lord will help us in Jesus name. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE WITH FELLOW BELIEVERS WAYS TO WASH AND KEEP THEIR ROBES CLEAN.
THE PRAYERS BELOW:
·       *  Ask the Lord to remove by the blood of Jesus every filthy, wrinkled and stain garments on you and clothe you with a change of garment (of righteousness) - Joshua 3:3-5
·        *  Ask the Holy Spirit to help you keep your robe in good state so you will ready for the coming of the Lord - Is. 60:21, 61:10.
·        *  Ask God to remove every blindfold of the devil from the unsaved people around you so they can see the glorious light of the gospel and be saved - 2 Cor.4:3-4.

For those yet to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior and Lord, please note that NO WORDLY CITIZEN DRESS can be worn by those who will sit down with Jesus and the angels at the marriage supper of the lamb. He is saying to you TODAY “buy of Me…white garment, that thou mayest be clothed, that that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear” Rev.3:18. According to Is.64:6, all our righteousness (religious activities) is like a filthy rags because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God but Christ has paid the consequences for our sin and has purchased for us the robe of righteousness. NOW is the acceptable time. Please pray this prayer to receive Jesus into your life now: “Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you today, I am a sinner. I believe you died for me that I might have ETERNAL LIFE. Forgive me my sins and cleanse me with your blood.  I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a blessed child of God.”  Thank you for saving me. If you have prayed this prayer sincerely, you are born again.   CONGRATULATIONS! J

THE SAINTS OF OLD SERIES - PROPHET DR. T.O. OBADARE (BIRTH, CALL & MINISTRY)

Introduction Ogo ni fun Olorun l’oke orun. Mo tun wi leekan si pe ogo ni fun Olorun l’oke orun. E jeki a gbadura (Glory be to God in heaven. And I say once again, glory be to God in heaven. Shall we pray?)[1] This slogan echoed over the Nigerian airwaves, especially in south-western Nigeria, for close to four decades. Each time it echoed, those who were familiar with it easily identified the voice of Apostle (Dr.) Timothy Oluwole Obadare, one of the indigenous prophets of the land, who was the General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) (Worldwide); the Executive Director of World Soul-Winning Evangelistic Ministry (WOSEM) and the President of the Interdenominational Ministers’ Association of Nigeria (IMA). Formerly of The Apostolic Church (TAC), he worked with the church for a period of four years, 1953 to 1957, before he was brought into the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) by Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola in 1957. Having joined the CAC, he ...

THE SAINTS OF OLD (NIGERIAN SERIES): PROPHET DR T. O. OBADARE - HOW HE WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD...

Apostle Timothy Oluwole Obadare went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2013 at the ripe age of 83. According to reports, he had been confined indoors for some years, but was said to have struggled to attend the March edition of the Koseunti Prayer meeting on March 1, 2013. He was brought to the church premises but could not come down from the car. When the news of his death came in, it dawned on the members that perhaps their leader had wanted to attend the meeting for the last time.[47] Apostle Timothy Obadare is survived by his wife, Elizabeth E. A. Obadare, six children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.      Governor Aregbesola being welcome to the burial ceremony by Mama Obadare & 2 sons Personal Qualities Many extolled the virtues of this great Apostle of Christ. THE SAINTS OF OLD – PA S.G. ELTON (Part 1)

I have been trying (for over 3 months now) to do a research on the late Pa S.G. Elton, who is widely considered to be the father of Pentecostalism in Nigeria before featuring him on this platform. However, someone circulated this via What Sapp and I am using it as a platform to start a 3 part series on him. Enjoy the write up below. Your feedback and comments will be highly appreciated. Also feel free to send to  eternity.reminders@gmail.com  any useful article(s) in this regard.  Shalom! LOOKING BACKWARD: In order for us to understand the origin of the prosperity “gospel” and the present reign of mammon in the Church today, we cannot but talk about the man who almost single-handedly established the Pentecostal movement that led to the Pentecostal Churches of Nigeria today. Before then all we had were mostly the “orthodox” Churches with strong controls and hierarchy of the ministers. We did not have the “one-man” Churches of today. ALSO READ JO...
