“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but YE KNOW HIM; for He DWELLETH WITH YOU; and SHALL BE IN YOU.” - John 14:17
Welcome to another great week.
The importance of the Holy Spirit in our Christian race cannot be over emphasised and it is particularly crucial to our ETERNAL DESTINY. In other words, our earthly journey to ETERNITY will be DIFFICULT if not IMPOSSIBLE without the Holy Spirit.
So I encourage you this morning to allow more of the Holy Spirit (John 3:30) because He is already in you. How? Somebody asked me sometimes ago, my response was: "Sowing to the Spirit in you and doing what likes and says." "...He that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap LIFE EVERLASTING." (Gal. 6:8). For example, you cannot sow to the Spirit if you find it comfortable to watch movies or be on the social media for several hours whereas you cannot spend 10 minutes studying the word of God or praying.
Sowing to the Spirit in you and doing what likes and says is what has helped me most in my Christian race over the years and still helping me till ETERNITY comes. Yes, I have a few experience disobeying the Holy Spirit sometimes but space will not permit me to share COUNTLESS TESTIMONIES here of how sowing to the Spirit and doing what He likes or says bar one - I have shared my experience sometimes ago (read it on Eternity Reminders blog here:goo.gl/kgWKZC) of how the Holy Spirit arrested (told) me to do this (Eternity Reminders social media & http://wwweternityreminders.blogspot.com.ng) 3 years ago. I find myself unqualified but He NOT ONLY QUALIFIED and JUSTIFIED me BUT HAS also GLORIFIED ME (Rom.8:29-30). Today, I can say I thank the Lord I was "not disobedient to the heavenly vision" by the Holy Spirit.
I like to hear from you out there, what do you do to allow more of the Holy Spirit?
Have a great week ahead. Shalom!
Shalom!
