Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo was quoted to have issued the above statement last week and has since been castigated by a large percentage of respondents on different platforms I have come across.  While I have heard a lot on several ‘atrocities’ Obasanjo has committed even after claiming to be a ‘born-again’ Christian, one will be tempted to join the bandwagon that believe hell rather than heaven is waiting for Obasanjo. However, I beg to differ and wish to use this medium to say to him (and WHOSOEVER); God is waiting to receive you in ETERNITY!

One of the most beautiful verse of the scripture that made me come to the Lord is “God was reconciling the world to himself through Christ, by not counting people’s sins against them. He has trusted us with this message of reconciliation – 2 Cor. 5:19 (Common English Bible). Making heaven is NOT A PRODUCT of what we have done or will do, IT IS A PRODUCT OF WHAT GOD DID THROUGH JESUS ON THE CROSS! So, whatever Obasanjo or WHOSOEVER for that matter has done or has not done does not rule anyone out of eternity with God in heaven, it is the rejection and non-acceptance of what Christ did on the cross that SHALL ultimately rule people out of heaven.

In other words, Christ paid for EVERYTHING but rejection of this truth is the ONLY REASON that will rule some people out of eternity with God in heaven; also the principal reason heaven will be full of surprises. I bet there shall be people we will see in heaven that men have condemned on earth but they shall make it because there is no CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1).

Apostle Timothy Oluwole Obadare went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2013 at the ripe age of 83. According to reports, he had been confined indoors for some years, but was said to have struggled to attend the March edition of the Koseunti Prayer meeting on March 1, 2013.
