How I Was Arrested To Do This...





The vision to do this blog is EXACTLY 2 years old today. That was when the FIRST POST ever (see it here:https://goo.gl/Gn78L4) went live on this blog. However, the story of how the Lord enabled me to be CONSISTENT with the vision of daily posts on Eternity Reminders Social Media platforms (Face book @Eternity Reminders and Twitter @Eternity Remind) TO MOTIVATE, INSPIRE AND EMPOWER SAINTS is one of the remarkable stories ever told - I often laugh at myself, each time I have been privileged to share it at several speaking events and I am glad to share it on this platform for the first time ever today.

That incident happened on a certain day in the 2nd quarter of 2015.  I can’t remember the exact day now or exactly what I was doing online at that time but all I remember was that I came across a work from home advert that promised $50 monthly payment for anyone willing to do a simple daily task – just post a link of a particular product on your face book wall DAILY. This should not be a difficult task, I said to myself, particularly as I resume very early to the office; and often the last to leave because I hate driving in traffic. So I simply set a reminder for 6pm daily and started doing the task. After all, I used to write daily and won lots of cash and material awards local and overseas from various media houses. 
Some of the cash, materials prizes and honors I won while following my former No.1 passion,
now displaced by this vision...

So, I started doing it faithfully and successfully did the task daily for one month, only to be OMO (on my own) at the end of 30 days when payment falls due. 'Nothing for Lagbaja!' Then, I heard a voice, saying "The one I gave you to do, you abandoned." I knew immediately that it was the Spirit of God talking to me because over a year ago (while waiting on the Lord on my birthday - a milestone one), I received the vision to do something MUCH MORE great for the Lord online. Though I started (ETERNITY CHALLENGE), I only did it sparingly as I find it difficult to be consistent, giving many excuses to the Lord.
ETERNITY IS NOT A JOKE, IT IS SERIOUS BUSINESS!

After this encounter, I became reborn and transformed. The Lord then cause His grace to abound unto me as several words of encouragement and empowerment came from several quarters (WATCH OUT FOR more on MAJOR INSPIRATORS BEHIND THE VISION, COMING SOON). To the glory of God and the shame of the devil, 2 years down the line, the Lord has enabled me to achieve OVER 90% COMPLIANCE with the vision (over 2,000 DAILY inspirational Word/Wisdom quotes POSTS on Eternity Reminders Social Media Platforms (Twitter and Face book) and over 135 articles on Eternity Reminders Blog, all of which has been of tremendous blessings, not only to me but millions of saints that have come across this vision.

This vision was further made EASIER and INTERESTING when I came across 2 very popular social media scheduling tools (Hoot suite and Buffer). So gone are the days when I will be so disappointed if I am not able to fulfill the assignment on some particular days due to bad network, airtime/battery downtime or any other reason(s). There is no reason WHATSOEVER that followers on the two social media platforms (Twitter 111, Facebook 63 to date - not following me but following the Lord) will wake up and will not see a scripture or wisdom quote) or article to MOTIVATE, INSPIRE AND EMPOWER THEM FOR ETERNITY by 7am everyday.

While I thank the Lord for as many lives that have been impacted by this vision, I testify in all honesty that I have been the GREATEST BENEFICIARY of this vision. The Lord has blessed and increased me GREATLY spiritually, physically, financially and has given me all round peace. However, I will not be a hypocrite to say there have not been challenges here and there since I became FULLY OBEDIENT to this vision. There have been MANY AFFLICTIONS but I chose to glorify the name of the Lord because the scripture says in Psalm 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivered him from THEM ALL.” 2 Cor. 4:8-9 also says “We are pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; ... but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.” Someday, I hope to share the testimonies of some terrible afflictions I went through but which God not only delivered but used as part of my growth process in my walk with Him.

With God, all things are possible. I TRUST THE LORD TO MINISTER TO AS MANY VOLUNTEERS/PARTNERS AS POSSIBLE TO SUPPORT THIS VISION IN DIVERSE WAYS FROM THIS MOMENT ON WARDS.

Apostle Timothy Oluwole Obadare went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2013 at the ripe age of 83.
